Jason Blakely is Associate Professor of Political Science at Pepperdine University and Senior Fellow at the Nova Forum for Catholic Thought. Blakely is a leading interpreter of the thought of Charles Taylor and the author of four books: Lost in Ideology: Interpreting Modern Political Life (Agenda, 2024); We Built Reality: How Social Science Infiltrated Culture, Politics, and Power (Oxford, 2020); Interpretive Social Science: An Anti-Naturalist Approach, with Mark Bevir (Oxford, 2018); and Alasdair MacIntyre, Charles Taylor, and the Demise of Naturalism: Reunifying Political Theory and Social Science (Notre Dame, 2016).
