A Man for All Seasons is a 1966 British film directed and produced by Fred Zinnemann, based on a play by Robert Bolt. It depicts the lawyer and then-Lord Chancellor of England, St. Thomas More, as he navigates the turbulent waters of faith, conscience, loyalty, and ambition in England under Henry VIII. The film poses ambitious and important questions en route to showing us how Thomas was truly a man for any season.
The movie screening will be held at the Woodlawn House, a Victorian mansion located at 5554 S Woodlawn Ave. It is the site of the Lumen Christi Institute’s residential student community.
