It is made possible through the support of ‘In Lumine: Supporting the Catholic Intellectual Tradition on Campuses Nationwide’ (Grant #62372) from the John Templeton Foundation. \nWhat moral and intellectual obligations do we have as scholars when encountering unfamiliar\, strange or “other” ideas?  It is a fraught idea on many college campuses right now. This lecture will unpack resources from the Catholic intellectual tradition that can help us navigate these issues\, in particular developing a theory of what it means to be an intellectual Good Samaritan and applying it to the roads we traverse on modern university campuses.
